Smother

A new comedy by Estee Stimler

Every daughter’s dream. Every daughter’s nightmare.

Life gets complicated when a rebellious daughter finds she has no choice but to let her dead mother guide her dating life.

A comedy about mothers, daughters… and how some mothers just can’t let go.

Starring: Michaela Stern (Oliver), Steven Serlin (Priscilla) and Sue Kelvin (Wicked). Directed by Scott Le Crass (Rose).

Produced by Lew Forman of Counterminers. Tsitsit Fringe Festival: Jews Write Funny.

The Last Will and Testament of Sheila Goodwin

An Immersive Play

Running time: 30 min.

An unhinged, immersive comedy where the family doesn’t stay civil, and the audience isn’t safe.

When the estranged children of Sheila Goodwin gather for the reading of her will, they expect jewellery, houses, and a yacht or two. What they get instead is total chaos, jaw-dropping revelations, and a very specific request involving their mother’s ashes. As secrets explode and the siblings spiral, the audience is dragged into the madness—becoming witnesses, sidekicks, and collateral damage in a no-holds-barred inheritance war.

With its blend of grotesque absurdity, family dysfunction, and full-throttle audience interaction, The Last Will and Testament of Sheila Goodwin is a laugh-out-loud theatrical free-for-all where no one escapes clean… not even the corpse.

Change of Heart: The Cabaret

The Other Palace, London

Mon 24 February 2020 - Mon 2 March 2020

When a particularly British man who disdains musical theatre wakes up singing after a heart transplant, his wife discovers that he received the heart of a Broadway musical theatre actor. The Broadway actor was in London to make his name on the West End. Unfortunately, every show he was to star in never ran, due to lack of funding or just general bad taste. However, the night before the opening of his musical at the National Theatre, he mindlessly crossed Waterloo Bridge and was run over by a pedibus. The Change of Heart Cabaret showcases the songs from the most infamous of his musicals.
